Paravani HPP Which is The First Energy Project realized by Turkish Companies in Georgia, Has Opened

Paravani HPP, owners engineering and site supervision services completed by HİDROLİN a subsidiary of HİDRODİZAYN and LİNERJİ, has opened on 11 October 2014.
The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibaşvili, The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Taner Yıldız, The Minister of Energy of Georgia Kakha Kaladze and a lot of invited people were attend the opening ceremony of Paravani HPP in Georgia.
The Paravani Hydroelectricity Plant have an installed capacity of 90 MW, and an average annual electricity generation of 409 million kWh. Construction of the plant began in October 2010, and the plant became operational in September 2014. In the history of Turkish Republic, this is the first investment that will use the natural resources of a neighboring country to fulfill energy demand of Turkey. Electricity energy that will be generated in Paravani HPP will be transmitted to Georgia and Turkey
